I know that this blog post is a bit late to the season, but I love Fall! The crisp air in the morning, and sunny in the afternoon. The gorgeous colours of the leaves. Turkey dinner with the company of friends and family, Halloween candy, duh, and all of the fun activities!!
Some of my favorite activities this time of year are Aldor Acres Pumpkin Patch, the Cranberry Festival in Fort Langley, Football games, and the simply just walking around our beautiful city!
My boyfriend Mike and I make it an annual tradition to visit Aldor Acres in October. What is there not to love about the animals, local eggs, veggies, homemade jams, hay rides, and picking your own pumpkin? The animals are my absolute favorite part. Seeing the pig races is hilarious, and who doesn’t want to be in a petting zoo full of goats?!
Unfortunately this year, I was unable to attend the Cranberry Fest in Fort Langley. I love going with friends and enjoying the food carts, looking at all of the local vendors, and of course the fresh cranberries! One of the items I always pick up when I am there is a cute flower bouquet in a pumpkin vase. It is a pretty way to decorate the house and is great to have as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving dinner.
It is also a super easy DIY project! See link about how to make your own pumpkin bouquets.
