It’s not even December yet the dazzling, daring, dream-like displays are already lighting up the streets of the Fraser Valley. From Langley to Cloverdale to South Surrey, soak up the holiday spirit by checking out some superb Christmas displays. This free and enchanting activity is a great way to kick off the season, and you can start as early as tonight. To help you find the merriest spots in town, here are the best holiday light displays in the Fraser Valley.

Cloverdale

17022 62nd Ave, Cloverdale

It’s a children’s Christmas dream come true. Decked out with inflatable snowmen, bundled up penguins, Santas, and more, this house screams – or perhaps carols – holiday galore. From 5pm to 10pm every night, you can marvel at this home’s cheerful display.

6319 181A St, Cloverdale

Owned by the Dolmans family, this home showcases over 30,000 lights every year. In an effort to raise money for the Canuck’s Autism Network, they even serve hot chocolate and popcorn on the weekends for visitors. Lean into the Christmas cheer while also giving back this holiday season.

Langley

2328 Wakefield Drive, Langley

Ready to dive into the Langley festivities? Be sure to check out the colourful display by the Basran family. From 5pm to 10:15pm every night, you can wander through this bright display of holiday cheer.

9562 215A Street, Langley

For over 5 years, the Berry family have put on a beautiful display of lights. Every year is different from the last, getting bigger and brighter as the years go by. From inflatables and candy canes to twinkling rooftops and holiday music, this is a sight to see and hear. With an earlier start than some other displays, you can wander through from 4pm to 11pm nightly.

With flashing lights and Christmas tunes, you can enjoy this twinkling display every night from 5pm to 11pm all the way through to January 6th. You might even spot some animated figures on the lawn.

20997 86A Ave, Langley

This is the digital dream of Christmas displays. Completely computerized and synced to music, dial your radio to 99.7FM as you drive through “Walnut Grove Dancing Lights.” With over 25,000 lights on 144 separate channels, this is a show you must experience this holiday season. Take a gander from 5-11pm Sundays through Thursdays, 5pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day until midnight.

This Christmas display is not just for the eyes, but a treat for the ears as well. Synced to cheerful holiday tunes, turn on 87.9FM radio to watch the lights twinkle in perfect harmony. As the gift that keeps on giving, this beautifully decked out home is also accepting donations for Jessie Lee Elementary School.

With a dazzling 20,000+ light display, this house has been hanging lights for many years. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for 2022, but you can check out past years on their Facebook page.

15466 91A Ave, Surrey

The Lagerstroms know how to put on a show. Until December 31st, you can catch their nightly display from 5pm to 10pm Sundays through Thursdays, and 5 to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, enjoy an extra hour of bedazzling bliss with a 5pm to midnight show. If that’s not enough, they keep their lights on till 12:30am on New Year’s Eve!

154th St & 85A Ave, Surrey

Nestled in the cul-de-sac off the corner of 154th St and 85A Avenue, the Kelly family always puts on a great Christmas show. With approximately 35,000 lights, you’ll be happy you checked this house off your (nice) list.

15097 90A Ave, Surrey

With over 10,000 lights to see, this home is transformed into Santa’s North Pole come Christmas time. Last year, they even had a visit from Santa and Frosty on December 19th, with hot chocolate, coffee, and candy canes being served. Whether you gaze upon the Nativity scene or marvel at the lights, this holiday scene is a great place to walk through with family and friends. Active from 6pm to 10pm every night until New Year’s Day, check out this Winter Wonderland before it’s gone.

This home has a habit of outdoing itself every year with bigger and brighter lights. All set to those classic Christmas tunes we know and love, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year’s charming display.

In addition to the 5,000 LED lights strewn about the house, the yard also features a beautifully lit tree. Grab a hot drink and take a wander by this lovely holiday display.

A holiday display synchronized to music, tune into 107.1 FM to see and hear the Christmas cheer.

The Fox family goes big and colourful. With new additions every year, you can check out their display every night from 5 to 10pm up until the New Year.

Do you go crazy for Disney? Maybe you have kids who can’t get enough of their beloved animated friends. Designed for all ages, this holiday display features bright lights and Disney characters to entertain every person’s inner child.

11082 Jay Crescent, Surrey

The Lambert house is an annual favourite. A display that is sure to bring out your Christmas cheer, watch a show of 10,000 lights synced to music on 89.1 FM. The show runs every half hour from 5-10pm Sundays through Thursdays, and 5-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Located in the lovely Morgan Creek area, this beautiful home is dotted with dazzling lights. If you’re in the area, don’t forget to check it out.

15499 22nd Ave, South Surrey

This Christmas display is not for the faint of heart. For approximately 20 years, Ken and Bonnie have been decking the halls – and their home – for the holidays. Every year, they strive to outdo the last (and succeed)! The property is full of lights and decorations, from huge inflatable Santas, illuminated trees, and reindeer on the roof to twinkle lights and snowflakes. You can view this fabulous display from 5pm-10pm Sundays through Thursdays, and 5pm-11pm Fridays through Saturdays. The couple also accept donations for Sources Food Bank in South Surrey and White Rock.
