Should You Hire a Professional?

If you’re moving from a condo or a small townhome, you may not feel that your move will require a moving company. However, let us stress again to not underestimate the amount of work, time and energy that goes into moving. Your best bet is to save yourself the stress (and the back ache) and budget for movers when you’re initially crunching numbers for listing your home. Many consider simply renting a moving truck, however, this still requires you to move everything in and out of the truck. This is still very physically demanding and requires you to enlist the help of friends and family with the move. Unfortunately, rental truck companies also often have hidden fees that get tacked on when you return the truck. Some other costs may include fuel costs, insurance costs and meal costs (like pizza & beer!)
