Fall Community Activities in the Fraser Valley

Kim PhillipsInside Fraser Valley

As cooler weather and fall approaches in the Fraser Valley, we look forward to welcoming the change of season. At this time of year, we love settling back into routine and taking advantage of everything the autumn season has to offer.

While you may know us as your go-to Cloverdale, South Surrey and Langley Realtors, we also serve all areas of the Fraser Valley and beyond. With all the time we spend out in the community, we know so many great hidden gems and unique activities you can do with your family and friends. Here are a few of our current favourites!

Enjoy A Chai Latte or Apple Pie Ice Cream By The River

Nestled right beside the Chilliwack River, The Eddy at the Bridge is a brand new development of shops, restaurants and more. Banter Ice Cream has opened a new location here along with a brand new spot, Land Studio & Cafe which offers delicious food, coffee drinks and yoga. Currently under construction is Sidekick Brewing which will likely become another community hot spot! Take your family for a cozy walk or bike ride and enjoy a fall treat from one of these great Chilliwack businesses.

Go Apple Picking at Willowview Farms

One visit to Willowview Farms and you’ll be searching online for Abbotsford homes for sale! This beautiful farm showcases much of what makes Abbotsford so special, farm-to-table products, family business and a community centered mindset. Visit the farm animals, have some cider at the Country store and pick some fresh apples in assorted varieties. This is a great place to bring the whole family!

Explore Glen Valley and Beyond

This hidden area just past Fort Langley is packed with wonderful places to explore. (Think rolling hills and stunning farms). Take the kids to the fall pumpkin patch and activities at Aldor Acres from Saturday September, 24 – Monday, October 31, 2022. Looking for an adult outing? Why not visit Roots and Wings Distillery for a delicious craft cocktail and dinner at Texas Smoke BBQ ! Glen Valley also offers an excellent Regional Park that is perfect for a fall picnic or walk with your family.

Take a Stroll in Fort Langley or Murrayville

There is a reason our clients ask about Fort Langley and Murrayville homes! In these two communities, you will feel like you’ve stepped into a movie. Quaint buildings, tree-lined streets, cozy cafes and more. Porter’s Bistro Coffee & Tea is a Murrayville local favorite, offering delicious baked goods, lunch/dinner fare and often hosts open mic nights! Our perfect fall afternoon in Fort Langley would include a visit to Wendel’s Bookstore & Cafe, a browse through Villlage Antiques Mall and a walk along the river.

We hope you enjoyed this list of distinctly local activities to check out with your family and friends. As Fraser Valley Real Estate Agents, we have the pleasure and the privilege of exploring all corners of this amazing area we call home. It’s our joy to share our findings with you!
